The NALA Seal of Accreditation is the 'Michelin Star' of the lash industry.

FIND A NALA ACCREDITED ACADEMY

NALA Academy Accreditation is an assessment process that lash academy owners choose to participate in so they will know with absolute certainty, their courses meet the highest level of education for their students. In most areas around the world, this is not a mandatory process. It is completely voluntary.

The NALA Seal of Accreditation is an academy’s way of proving to their students that their lash courses exceed the basic industry standard.

Lash students seek out NALA accredited courses because this seal of accreditation gives them peace of mind that they are making the best investment for their career.

NALA is a non-governmental, international accreditation agency who has established a strong reputation for helping to raise the standards in the lash industry; particularly at the education level. NALA accreditation is the highest accolade a lash academy can achieve. It is evidence that their lash training courses are fully comprehensive and will properly prepare their students for success.

To earn the NALA Seal of Accreditation is an item of great esteem.

Academy Accreditation Requirements

NALA holds academies to an extremely high standard because we understand that education is the foundation of our entire industry. NALA Accreditation cannot simply be purchased.

To earn the NALA Seal of Accreditation for your lash academy:

  • Academy owner must complete Step One of NALA School for Lash Trainers before applying for academy accreditation. Group rates available if additional staff are enrolling in Step One of SFLT.
  • All of your lash related courses must meet the curriculum criteria (applicants receive everything they need to pass in Step One of NALA SFLT).
  • Your manuals must meet professional education standards regarding spelling, grammar, and information organization.
  • Training manuals must contain very detailed, up-to-date information. (applicants are provided checklist of all required criteria which must be included in the manuals.)

  • All classes must have 1 qualified educator for every 5 students (class ratio 1:5).
  • Total amount of in-class instruction must be at least 2 days and should offer a timeline which allows for students to have quality time with the instructor.

What If I Don't Pass?

NALA Accreditation is never guaranteed, it must be earned.

Step One of NALA School for Lash Trainers provides everything you need to pass your accreditation application (Step Two). However, if you are unsuccessful on your first attempt a NALA team member will work with you to help you get your courses to accreditation status. Every applicant is entitled to one free reapply, if needed.

We never turn anyone away! But applicants must be prepared to make changes to their curriculum and academy processes in order to meet NALA Standards.

"I applied for NALA Academy Accreditation because NALA is so confident that they are the highest Seal/Accreditation/Accolade a school can receive and they stand behind the quality of the courses that they accept. I want to offer the best to my students. This accreditation really is something you have to work hard for. I spent a lot of time and effort creating my manual and I’m super proud of the work I have done to get to this point. There are a lot of things we can just "buy" in terms of accreditations but NALA seriously made me work for it! I'm glad I did it and I know I will definitely be a better trainer/educator for it. Thank you xx"
